{"id":552,"date":"2026-09-23T00:04:24","date_gmt":"2026-09-23T00:04:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mexclub.com.au\/content\/?page_id=552"},"modified":"2026-09-23T00:04:24","modified_gmt":"2026-09-23T00:04:24","slug":"2026-annual-general-meeting","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.mexclub.com.au\/content\/2026-annual-general-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"2026 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Annual General Meeting of <strong>MAYFIELD EX SERVICES CLUB LIMITED<\/strong> will be held at 4pm on <strong>Monday, 19th October 2026<\/strong> at the Club premises <strong>58 Hanbury Street, Mayfield, NSW.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nominations are now open for three vacant positions on the board as follows:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>President &#8211; 1 only &#8211; must be ex-services or a life member<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Directors &#8211; 2 only<\/strong> <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All positions are three year terms. New Directors will be required to complete a mandatory training course for Directors within 12 months of appointment.<br><br><strong><em>IMPORTANT: All persons wishing to apply as directors must have a Government issued Director ID PRIOR to lodging a nomination. Nominees must be put forward and seconded by current or ex-service members.<\/em><\/strong><br><br>Nomination and Statutory Declaration forms and a Director ID Information kit are available from the Supervisor on Duty from Tuesday September 22<sup>nd<\/sup>.<br><br>All forms are to be returned to the Supervisor on Duty only. Nominations close 14 days prior to the AGM &#8211; Monday October 5th, 2026 at 4.00pm. The roll for eligible voting members will also close at 4.00pm Monday October 5th, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>BUSINESS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The business of the meeting will be as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">1. To confirm the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting and the minutes of any other general meeting that require confirmation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. To receive and consider the directors\u2019 report, financial report, auditor\u2019s report and any other report of the Board. These reports are available on the Club\u2019s website \u2013 www.mexclub.com.au&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. To conduct the election of directors as required by the Club\u2019s Constitution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4. To appoint a Returning Officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">5. To consider the Ordinary Resolutions (which relate to director expenses and honorariums).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6.
